After Several fantastic evenings, I thought a re-cap might serve us well. Where to start?  A poignant question indeed. Our first evening's speaker, Michelle Schafer ( www.mschafercoaching.ca ) encouraged us to ask this very question. It's important, before jumping into a job search, to ask yourself •why am I looking for a job? •why am I looking to change careers?? •why am I not happy/satisfied with my current status? There are a lot of things to consider when you're job hunting. To start with, you have to ask yourself " Why am I looking for a job? " If you're not currently employed, the answer may seem obvious, but not necessarily. If you're currently employed, the answer may get even more complicated. Money is a strong influence for many people when it comes to seeking employment, but there are so many other factors to consider; job satisfaction, workplace respect, day-to-day enjoyment, skill set, workplace environment...  the list is endless.
