" If you're not currently employed, the answer may seem obvious, but not necessarily. If you're currently employed, the answer may get even more complicated. Money is a strong influence for many people when it comes to seeking employment, but there are so many other factors to consider; job satisfaction, workplace respect, day-to-day enjoyment, skill set, workplace environment...  the list is endless. The reasons for wanting a particular job, a career change, or employment at all, can be varied. Once you've got a firm grip on why you're job hunting, you'll need to figure out what sort of work you're looking for.  Targeting your job search can focus your attention and maximize efforts.
